The next Standard for Public Code community call will be held on Thursday, 2 December, 14.00 (UTC).

We have made some recent merges that will show up in the next release that we would like to highlight for you. These are:

• Expand on engineering guidelines #540

• Add nuance on where non-English is acceptable #527

• Clarify intersection of policy-defined vocabulary and Use Plain English #528

• Add prev/next criteria links #535

We also have a suggestion for a new requirement related to vendor independence that we would like some feedback on before making a pull request for it.

Finally, since we just opened the possibility for community translations of the Standard for Public Code, we want to open the floor for any questions you might have related to it.

As always, the purpose of the community call is to make room for you, your questions and your opinions - so if there is anything else on your mind, feel free to bring it up. Also, if you cannot participate in this specific call but have thoughts on the introduction, feel free to reply to this email.
